As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) I am eager to assist you in your path to self-discovery. With a Bachelors in Psychology from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Counseling from Webster University, I have over a decade of experience working with individuals to overcome a variety of different challenges. I am a former Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) and have specialized training as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), as well as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP).

I want our therapeutic relationship to feel comfortable and for you to feel confident in my ability to treat your issues with a style that fits with your world view. I have a passion for helping women who struggle with anxiety, codependent relationships, as well as life transitions and stress. I provide individual therapy for teens (14+), women in college, and adult women.

You Are Stronger Than You Think!

Seeking help during troubling times shows true strength of character. When we feel anxious or stressed, it can so often prevent us from doing the things we know must. And with the current state of the world, it can make self-care almost impossible.

My goal is for you to leave each session feeling equipped with resolutions that will help you to improve your life. I became a therapist because I truly believe people possess the ability to better themselves. Let’s work together to uncover the life you’ve always wanted to live. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

Amber M.
I can't say enough great things about Lauren! She has helped me really understand and work on my anxiety and depression. She is so calming and makes the session feel like a safe and happy place. Lauren makes sure to explain things clearly and honestly [and] has our best interest at heart! I couldn't have asked for a better therapist!!
