Moriah’s Specialties
My name is Moriah Willis, a therapist focused on supporting women as they navigate life’s unique challenges. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University in 2018. I have since worked diligently to support clients experiencing a variety of mental health and life concerns.
Moriah specializes in supporting Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), people-pleasers, and perfectionists, helping them navigate overwhelm, set healthy boundaries, and embrace self-worth beyond external validation. She also provides perinatal mental health support, guiding women through pregnancy, postpartum challenges, birth trauma, and parenting young children with compassion and expertise. Additionally, Moriah assists clients in managing trauma, relationship dynamics, and depression, offering a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to foster healing, resilience, and emotional well-being. Her work empowers clients to cultivate self-acceptance, navigate life transitions, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Perinatal Mental Health & Parenting Support
Moriah is also deeply passionate about helping women through the unique mental health challenges associated with motherhood. She provides expert care for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, hormonal shifts, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and emotional support during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and parenting young children. Whether a client is adjusting to a new identity as a parent, struggling with feelings of guilt or overwhelm, or healing from a difficult birth experience, Moriah offers a safe and understanding space for processing emotions and finding tools for resilience.

Support for Highly Sensitive Persons, People-Pleasing, and Perfectionism
Moriah specializes in working with Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) and individuals struggling with people-pleasing and perfectionism. She understands the deep emotional processing, heightened empathy, and overwhelm that can come with being highly sensitive, as well as the pressure to meet expectations—both from oneself and others. Moriah helps clients navigate these experiences with self-compassion, emotional regulation strategies, and boundary-setting techniques to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
For those dealing with people-pleasing and perfectionism, Moriah works to uncover the underlying beliefs that drive these patterns. Many individuals feel a constant need for external validation or fear that setting boundaries will lead to conflict or rejection. Through a warm, evidence-based approach, Moriah helps clients challenge self-critical thoughts, release unrealistic expectations, and cultivate self-worth that isn’t dependent on approval or achievement. Her work empowers clients to embrace imperfection and feel confident in their authenticity.

What Moriah’s Clients Are Saying
I cannot say enough good things about Moriah!!
I have always struggled with anxiety and depression & being a good mom and wife felt impossible for me at times. I was very hesitant to start therapy, but now I genuinely look forward to our sessions every week. She has created a safe, supportive space where I feel completely heard and understood. I never feel judged and feel that she genuinely cares about my experiences and progress. It’s become something I deeply value, and I’m so grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received.
