At Women’s Counseling NC, we believe in the power of integrating mind, body, and spirit to foster profound healing and personal growth. Our approach to counseling is rooted in the principles of Integrative Therapy, a therapy-type which embraces the interconnectedness of all aspects of the self.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. Instead of talking through the trauma in detail, EMDR helps your brain reprocess painful memories so they are no longer emotionally triggering.

Discover a transformative approach to mental health and well-being with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). At Women’s Counseling NC, we embrace ACT as a powerful way of addressing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and the myriad of challenges that women often encounter.

One helpful tool in treating mental health conditions is known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, often abbreviated as CBT. CBT is an evidenced-based therapy modality. This means research has found it to be effective in treating mental health conditions, and because of this, it is often covered by health insurance..

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a unique therapy that views your mind as a system of different parts, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. Instead of seeing these parts as problems, IFS helps you understand and heal them, leading to inner harmony.
